This was THE movie we HAD to get as soon as it hit shelves! We saw it in theaters and the kids have been talking to the dogs about them having to see it too! They tell them that they are ‘totally busted’ and that they now know that the dogs do when they go to school! So when we found out The Secret Life of Pets was hitting store shelves in Blu-Ray and DVD WITH 3 mini-movies too, we HAD to have it and throw a movie night. However, our movie night was a little different… it’s a pets movie night!
Piper curled up with her popcorn, Jack and Joy discussed the plot line and Bud found a kindred spirit in the old dog Pops. The kids and the dogs and I had a great time with popcorn and cookies to enjoy along the way!
We received the Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack Target Exclusive featuring 4 pages of decals. The combo pack comes with the Blu-ray, DVD, and a Digital copy. Plus, you can decorate your room, car, office, laptop, or wall with 4 pages of decals featuring main characters and their funny personalities. The kids immediately took the decals and stuck them to the windows in their rooms. They are a great little addition to a Blu-Ray DVD that is already a family favorite!
The new release features nearly an hour of bonus content, including three hilarious mini-movies: the all-new Norman Television and Weenie PLUS Mower Minions which debuted in theaters and is now available to own. That was my favorite part of the DVD! Being able to see something that was not in theaters!
