The HOTTEST toy of 2015 is now on shelves at Toys ‘R Us! My girls now have the Luke Skywalker Light Saber and it has been great fun watching them battle it out!  But no toy is complete without the batteries that last and last and last. I am sure we ALL have the story of our kids opening a gift or toy and the batteries are not there. It has happened here more than once. That is why when I hit Toys ‘R Us for all of the Star Wars toys my kids want this season, I stock up big time on Duracell batteries – at a great price too!Light Up the Holidays with the HOT Star Wars Light Saber + WIN a $100 Toys "R" Us & Duracell Batteries #TRUBatteriesIncluded ad

Picture it: Christmas Morning 2012. It was a tough year for me and providing Christmas to my kids was a big deal for me. They had watched their dad and me separate and start the proceedings for a nasty divorce. I didn’t have much to spend, with the main income leaving the house, so providing a few things they wanted was a huge deal for me. I watched as my little ones opened what little I could provide and my heart sunk as I realized I had forgotten batteries for one of the dolls that cried. My little one was begging me to make her talk and I couldn’t. I scurried around the house, finally taking the batteries from my TV remote so I could make her smile. From that day on, I vowed to stock up when I could on batteries; even ones that are of odd sizes.

Now I have a drawer full and almost never miss the need for batteries anymore. Luckily for us busy moms running around trying to get it all done for the holidays, Toys ‘R Us is the one stop shop for the latest toys and the batteries that go in them! Add them to your list next to Star Wars Light Saber!

We all know that Star Wars is going to be HOT this year! So I will be heading to Toys“R”Us for the best selection of Star Wars toys like the Luke Skywalker Light Saber! Yes, my girls love Star Wars! So the sooner I hit the store, the better chance I have of getting what they will scream happy about come Christmas morning!

The Luke Skywalker Light Saber is super cool, too! Kids can power up their new Light Saber and see the brightly glowing blade’s light effects! My girls swing and slice the toy through the air, and try to ‘attack’ each other, and they can hear motion sensor-controlled sound effects like clashing, battle impact and crackling sounds. But in order to “power up” – you need Duracell batteries!  It really is pretty COOL!
