I don’t want to hear any excuses. Pixar’s Monter’s University is here and it is hysterical, fun and a great family film!
Just do it. Plan on packing up your kids, preparing them for laughter, entertainment the the ultimate story of the underdogs learning lessons and working together.
Surely you already know that the follow up to Monster’s Inc was going to be a smash hit. And when I took my girls two weeks ago to the preview, I was prepared to be impressed. But the timely, heartfelt story line that teaches kids the value of honesty, working as a team and not judging a book by it’s cover, I did not expect.
There were actually parts in the movie where I wanted to jump in and correct the wrongs that were being committed. But Pixar had it all handled.
As Mike Wazowski’s (voiced by Billy Crystal) lifelong dream of being a Scarer is sought after, we learn that just because you don’t look scary does not mean that you don’t have the ability to achieve your life long dreams! In fact, sometimes your dreams are different than you originally thought.
I love this movie for so many reasons. The story line is one that projects you forward into what you think might happen. Interestingly enough, it does not end the way you think it does. I was surprised at the ending and even thought it was going to end at several times but it kept going. In the vast genre of family friendly movies, when one surprises me, I am excited to share and recommend it to you guys!
And my kids loved this movie! All three – ages 6 -3 – hung onto every scene. They already want to see it again!
Check out this clip below as you are getting your family ready to go see the whole movie!
You will laugh like crazy at the jokes, you will feel for the characters as they embark on their journey and you will be scared as every good Monster student should!
Go see this movie and then come back and tell me what you though! Do you agree with my Monster’s University Review?
