3 Laundry Hacks that Can Make the Job Less Dirty #LongLastingScent #ad

Laundry. The dirty word that makes every mother cringe. How is it that people that are so little can create so much of it? Clothes, towels, sheets, blankets and so on it goes. The pile grows almost every hour. Add to that pets and husbands and yourself and we can, literally, wash, dry and fold every day of our lives! As a single mom, I look for the fastest and easiest way to do just about everything. Laundry is no exception. I look for any hack from getting my families clothes to have a fresh scent longer to making hauling laundry to the kids closets easier! I also spent some time and money making my laundry room more functional! The hardest hack, by far, is finding products that actually do what they say. The other day, wandering through Walmart, hoping to stumble across the Suavitel® Fragrance Pearls™ showings they are having in Walmart’s across the country, I took a real look at the product line. The price of Suavitel® Fragrance Pearls™ is way lower than products I have tried before. I posted the product on social media and got such a positive response that I decided it was worth trying out! I grabbed the Suavitel® Fragrance Pearls™ in both Field Flowers and Lavender fragrances and also some Suavitel® Fabric Conditioner to try out as well! Armed with my new products, I headed home to tackle the one chore that never seems to be done with 3 laundry hacks that really do make the chore less painful!

Use Products that Really Work

For years I thought that the more expensive the product, the better it worked. Truth be told, Suavitel® Fragrance Pearls™ is changing my mind. I purchased it a week or so ago and have done many a load of laundry since then. I have to say, the clean clothes scent really does seem to last! Using them is simple. Thrown them into the drum of the washer before your clothing, add your laundry detergent and turn on the machine. The Fragrance Pearls™ do the work for you, infusing your clothing with the gentle and lasting scent of Lavender or Field Flowers! Pretty soon all three of my girl’s closets had the delicate scents. I absolutely love it! As I mentioned, I also grabbed the Fabric Conditioner to try out as well. I added that into the rinse cycle and enjoyed softer clothing from jeans to towels! I will defiantly be adding Suavitel® Fragrance Pearls™ to my laundry hacks list as they do exactly as they say!

A Laundry Basket Per Family Member

I have written about this laundry hack before and still stand by it today! There is something really awesome about filling a laundry basket with kid’s clothing and then having them be responsible for unloading it. I had some baskets that were rectangular and they were hard for the kids to carry. So I recently bought square ones and, using puffy paint, personalized them to each child. I just added their names and a little fun symbol to make the kids feel somewhat proud of their baskets. Once they dry, I can fold the clothing, add it to their basket and then they can come get it and put it onto their drawers. This hack also cuts down on the clutter in the laundry room and takes the walking back and forth to their rooms out of my ‘to do’ list!

Organize the Laundry Room

When I moved into my house my laundry room was a mess. I had holes in the walls from an old water heater and other appliances that used to be there. With no color on the wall and no place to store anything, the space was useless. I did add a tall boy cabinet to expand my pantry but then decided I did not need it. So recently, I hired a handyman and my brother to help me make my laundry room more functional. My brother added a cabinet and shelves and a hanging rod, which is a lifesaver, by the way. My handyman then came in behind him to sand the patchwork and paint the entire thing a nice, bright yellow! I added some baskets for the kids socks and underwear, which we no longer haul to the bedrooms, and the room was complete! What once was a fairly useless space is now functional and impressive with it’s creative use of space!

It did cost money, I won’t lie, but I spent less than $300 making the room a space where laundry can be washed, folded, sorted and put away with an ease I have never had before! I have a new washer and dryer coming in about a week and then my laundry room will be totally complete! Spending the time and some money to make the room more functional, no matter how small, is always an investment that is worth it. This laundry hack takes a little more time and creativity, but in the end, it will make your life a lot easier!
