There is nothing I love better than warm, delicious comfort food over the holidays. Homemade pot pies, cheesy Chicken Alfredo and warm, delicious soups all bring joy to the table when it is cold outside. But when you don’t have to make it and clean up after it, it is even better. Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen offers delicious comfort food at reasonable prices in a relaxing atmosphere and you don’t have to clean up after yourself! It is one of those restaurants where, when I take someone new, they start planning their next trip right at the table!
Such is the case with my assistant, Camree. I took her to Cheddar’s for her very first visit and she fell in love! While ordering what she wanted that day for lunch, Homemade Chicken Pot Pie and Warm Tortilla Soup, she started to may out what she wanted for her next visit! Like Chicken Fried Chicken and their piled high Bacon Burger! That is how I know it is a restaurant that I can frequent often with anyone and know they will love it!
I will tell you, I have some gifts to still get. I am at a loss for most until I stepped into Cheddar’s with Camree. I know that, as busy mom who has to shop, wrap and handle all of the Christmas meals, that having a night off to enjoy something I would have made in my kitchen anyway, from scratch, is one of the best gifts I can receive. It’s giving the gift of true family time, respecting that memories are more important than doing the dishes and that you value their need to get out and enjoy some quality food!
As we dove into our Wisconsin Cheese Bites, which are a MUST have, we chatted about our holiday plans. There are presents that still need to be purchased and wrapped, cars that need to be cleaned and full of gas for road trips and family that needs to be visited. In all of that, we need to relax and enjoy the spirit of the season! Having Cheddar’s in our back pocket as a go-to during the holidays will make that possible!
