The other night my girlfriends and I were discussing the joys of being a woman. We are the only ones who know what it is like to have a baby growing inside of us, the pain and then instant elation of childbirth and the familiar tug of a baby wanting to nurse. Men have some great things in life as well, but we felt that we got the long straw in comparison. With that great gift of womanhood, however, comes the stress of PMS, the pain of dealing with periods, going through menopause and the day-to-day concern over our vaginal health. It seems that the movie we watch in fourth grade about reproduction kicks off 40 years of being concerned about what is going on “down there.” Luckily, we live in a day and age where reliable products like RepHresh Vaginal Gel can help us worry a little less about our pH balance and more about the benefits of being a woman.
As I get older, I am much more aware of what pH is and it changes with certain events. For instance, our menstrual cycles elevate our vaginal pH levels along with the forgotten tampon that stayed in longer than it should because our 5-year-old threw a tantrum that lasted all afternoon long! Hormone fluctuations during pregnancy or menopause can adversely affect the pH levels as well. So can soap, douching and sex! Pretty much anything that happens in that area can change our pH to levels that can trigger irritations.
But what is pH and why do we care?
pH is a measure of the acidity of the vaginal environment and plays a crucial role through each stage of life. The healthy vaginal pH is typically 3.5 to 4.5 Keeping the pH environment of the vagina in balance helps keep feminine health in balance.
As a 42-year-old woman heading towards menopause, I am keenly aware that my pH is more important than I used to think it was.
Since a pH imbalance is likely to occur after your period, after sex and after douching, having a day-to-day plan to counteract it is just smart. The RepHresh Vaginal Gel is used once every 3 days. This preventative product can keep you from experiencing seriously uncomfortable symptoms! The product is recommended by gynecologists and is safe for long-term use as well.
Being a woman and a mother makes all of the little things I have to worry about with my body worth it. But I do appreciate when I can mitigate some of that concern with a safe product that I can get easily at any drugstore!
RepHresh is the clinically tested, #1 trusted brand that empowers women to take control of their vaginal health. RepHresh Vaginal Gel is clinically shown to maintain healthy vaginal pH, helping eliminate feminine odor and discomfort. A single application can maintain vaginal pH in the normal range for 72 hours. RepHresh Pro-B Feminine Probiotic Supplement is clinically shown to balance yeast and bacteria to maintain feminine health.* Just one capsule per day helps maintain vaginal flora in a normal, healthy range.* Click here to learn more.

I try to take charge of my life with healthy eating and exercise
I was in a car wreck where i was declared dead on the scene. By the grace of God i’m back but suffer greatly and was having to take too many medications to list. I am learning to meditate and that is really helping but the biggest surprise i’ve found are crystals/minerals. I was taking 2 medication by mouth twice a day in high doses and using two insulins. They were preparing to put me on an insulin pump when i found this website that i love. It suggest the Infinite stone as a tool i would benefit from. I simply carry the stone on me. Can you believe that I had to come off both insulins and one of the oral medications (under my doctor’s care of course. BTW he’s really impressed with the stone :) ) Today we had to cut back the final medication in half and he said i should soon be off it as well. What a blessing! God never ceases to amaze me–He even hides gifts for us in rocks! What a mighty God we serve!

Taking care of myself has been a hard choice for me. As a mom I always put myself last on the list. Husband and kids come first.. but I’ve had to go to the doctor recently and am having some health issues. Issues that are interfering in my day to day life. So I’ve decided to become proactive about my health. I need to lose a little weight, so I’m trying to eat better. I decided to take vitamins..so I had to put that on my daily list of pills. (HP medication too!) I also try to drink more water. My oldest daughter told me to fill a pitcher with water and drink that through the day. Awesome idea! I’m also trying to incorporate a little more exercise into my day. Slowly but surely, I’ll get back to where I need to be! :)

I notice a huge different when I don’t drink water; mainly dehydration symptoms, of course. I also take one fish oil soft gel daily. Fish oil contains omega 3s and it just gives me a lot of energy throughout the day for some reason! I love salmon and other fish so I would have it daily if I could, but since I can’t, I prefer the soft gel supplements. I actually have been using this for 4 years, and I noticed a huge different in my concentration when I didn’t take it for one year. Sorry, I’m a health freak when it comes to nutrition!
