Macaroni and Cheese is a family favorite here. While we love the box, every once in a while I like to make it at home. It is always a hit no matter how we do it. When I make it in the Crock Pot, it is a hit for me too! Check out this super easy, super cheesy Crock Post Mac and Cheese recipe!
The recipe is simple and made with ingredients your probably already have in your home!
- 8 oz Macaroni cooked
- 8 oz Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 8 oz Pepper Jack Cheese
- 8 oz Velvetta
- 1 cup milk
- Cut all the cheese into cubes.
- Spray Slow cooker with non-stick spray.
- Pour macaroni in bottom of slow cooker.
- spread the cheese cubes around on top of the macaroni.
- Pour milk over contents.
- Cook on low for about 3 hours (optionally stirring halfway through).
I love to mix up the flavor by playing with different cheeses. So instead of cheddar, add Swiss! Or even Gouda for a smokier mac a cheese!
Serve it up with your favorite dish like my Healthier Turkey Meatloaf and watch as your kids eat every bite! You can even add some broccoli or carrots into the mix and they may not be the wiser! I love to mix it up a little with the addition of crunchy corn kernels.
Mac and Cheese is a favorite across the board and being able to toss it in, let it cook and have it ready just in time is invaluable! Plus, nothing against the box stuff that we love, but I like knowing everything that goes into that pot.

Sounds so good! Any idea how to sub in uncooked pasta?
Hi, I don’t know how you could do that. You would have to add water as if cooking it on the stove and it might water down the cheese. I have always cooked mine but if you try it, let me know!
