I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Hands-on-Prints books. I received books to facilitate my review.
Anyone who follows me on Facebook or Instagram knows that I am a HUGE advocate for reading. I have a children’s library in my home and on any given day, my kids are in it reading, creating and sharing books. So when I was approached to give my kids 5 awesome books from Hands-On-Prints that feature stories that include travel, culture and mindfulness, I had to have 5 Great Books that can help Make Summer an adventure for my kids!
We received 5 colorful and beautiful hard cover books that truly impressed me. Around the World from A to Z offers a colorful, beautiful journey of discovery through the world, one letter at a time. The bright illustrations are accompanied by poems that encourage adults to read to children, fostering together time. The idea is to take the child through the world one letter at a time with the introduction of a famous site around the world and a physical activity! It is a beautiful book and all of my children love it!
Teaching kids about coconuts and it’s varied uses around the world is fun with Nuts for Coconuts! I love this books for my kids because the content is not what you would normally see. It is a fun book that encourages kids to learn about culture around the world by tracking how different people use coconuts! A simple concept is taken to a new level with rhyming lines and colorful photos that encourage kids to ask more about the cultures they are learning about!
Christina Cheung, who has a Masters in Early Childhood Education, was compelled to write her Hands-on-Prints books after establishing a Montessori school that celebrates differences in personality, learning preferences and cultural backgrounds. This series of five colorful and addictive books inspire simple and complex learning about the world, incorporating tactile elements and vibrant, interactive visual experience for children. From exploring nature to traveling the world, each book foster a child’s knowledge and sense of discovery, engaging them in a way that other books don’t. More than a story, they are all an adventure in culture and mindfulness.
The other three books in the series are A Persistent Vine, The Chartres Cathedral and Do I Have To? All of the books are wonderfully done and would be a great addition to any children’s library!
