Years ago, after college and in the decade before kids changed my life forever, I was living with a roommate in a house in the trendy part of town. Well on our way to being young yuppies, we exercised everyday, running the well worn paths of the college near our house, me hitting the tennis courts five or six days a week. We were drinking bottled water at an amazing pace. Plastic bottles piled up in our home by the day and we always had to load a car and go drop them, twenty minutes away, at the recycling depot. One day we added up the cost of so many plastic bottled waters and were astonished! We realized that having a company deliver 5 gallon water jugs to the house to use in a dispenser was much cheaper over time. Thus began my love affair with a water dispenser in the house. For years, especially with children that I want to choose water over any other beverage first, I have wanted another one. But I didn’t know enough about which is good or not so good and which I would need. Thanks to NewAir, I now have a much more modern, functional and beautiful NewAir Pure Spring WAT40B BPA Free Hot & Cold Bottom Loading Water Dispenser in my home that I love!
My first requirement for a water dispenser in my home is that I can easily load and unload it with the water bottles. So many memories of my roommate and I trying to pick up a huge bottle and flip it over onto the dispenser without spilling it run through my head. Loading the water dispenser could have been it’s own comedy show. And it would have been a ratings hit! With the NewAir bottom loading dispenser, the comedy show has come to an end. I can easily slide the bottle out and into the door without a single drip. This makes the hardest job of this dispenser plugging it in. Seriously, it is so easy! Even my kids can slide the bottle in and out!

You just slide the old bottle out, open the new one, put the pump into the new one after wiping off the open mouth with a paper towel, and push it back in. Close the door to get that sleek look that is not imposing on any decor!
Another thing I love about the NewAir Pure Spring WAT40B is the hot or cold water option. The stainless steel water tank promises crisp drinking water every time, so I expected that, but the hot water option is a bonus I did not anticipate! With a safety feature on it preventing the kids from accidentally getting water out of that side (a HUGE plus, moms!), I can now fill my tea cup, my hot cocoa cup and even those little mac and cheese cups the kids like after school without having to wait until my tap is warm! Plus, I get filtered, cleaner water as an added bonus!
Let’s talk about the water bottles. If you walk into any store now, you can find the 3 and 5 gallon bottle options, usually by the front of the store. With the recycling rebate covering a huge part of the cost, I can give my kids clean water to drink at a fraction of the cost of a case of water bottles. In fact, purchased smaller water bottles have gone by the wayside here! We just fill travel bottles with water from the NewAir Pure Spring water dispenser and go!
Since having the NewAir Pure Spring WAT40B in the house, water consumption by me and my kids has probably tripled if not more. Someone is always over at it filling a cup and drinking from it. It has replaced the slower fill from the fridge door that left water on the floor because the kids could not reach it well. I love that the kids now go there first and use the lever to easily get some fresh, cold, clean water before anything else. It is the perfect height for them and I have yet to see a spill!

This water dispenser is exactly what I need my boys drink all day long one has diabetes so they tend to drink quiet a bit all the time , this would save me alot of time
