I stayed up too late, ate way too much and am tired today, but it was SO worth it!  The band, VINTAGE TROUBLE played on Jay Leno last night and they rocked the stage from start to finish!

New to this band and loving everything about it, as I talked about in my previous post, I had a preconceived notion about what they would be like ‘in concert’.  I was very excited to see an amazingly energetic performance that brought the house down.  The lead singer, Ty Taylor, showed a little James Brown and a little pop star in his dance moves that covered the stage as they sang.  The rest of the band, Nalle Colt (guitar), Richard Danielson (drums) and  bassist Rick Barrio Dill rounded out the lively performance.  They sang Perfect Strangers, one of my favorite songs off of their album, VINTAGE TROUBLE:  The Bomb Shelter Encore Edition and I just loved it!

Now, part of the fun in all of this was doing something I do too little of, spending some quality ME time watching something I want to see.  Usually I am working, cleaning or dealing with children who won’t go to sleep and stay asleep when Leno comes on.  So I made it a point to take a little time to watch my new favorite band perform.

I put the kids to bed early – and they eventually fell asleep late – ignored the dishes and the 50,000 things I could have been doing on the computer, grabbed my delicious snacks that I got at Dollar General and settled in to enjoy.  And when my neighbor called and wanted to chat a little, I was excited to share all of this with her!

At the time she arrived I had the band playing from their album in the background and was dancing around in my polka dot pajamas.  Leno had just started and I had paused the TV during a commercial so I could listen to a track or two.  Plus I wanted her to hear the band too (she loved them!).  Little did I know she was filming me.  Yes, here I am dancing in my polka dot pajamas to VINTAGE TROUBLE.  It does not last long but I am just shameless enough to share it with you!

I am so proud!

As I pigged out on M&M’s, beef jerky and, oh so much more, I chatted with my neighbor and waited patiently for the big performance.  And when they did hit the stage, it was worth every minute!  I wish I had a clip I could show you!!

Did you see VINITAGE TROUBLE on Jay Leno last night?  What did you think?  Pick up their album now and enjoy this honest and real music sung by musicians who have a true dedication to it’s authenticity!  You will not be disappointing at all and will enjoy the music that is pure and fresh!
