Two Top Dip Recipes for Corn Dogs that you will love

Let’s talk about marrying flavors for a moment. While shopping in the freezer aisle at H-E-B for my State Fair Corn Dogs, I walked the aisles coming up with new dip ideas. State Fair Corn Dogs are already a very flavorful corn dog made with real honey. Not only do they have 6 grams of protein per serving, they taste amazing too! I love biting into the crispy batter and finding a juicy hotdog hidden inside. While dipping them in mustard is the standard pairing, I like to experiment to bring out even more flavor. Hence my myriad of dip recipes that pair perfectly with these corn dogs.

I really enjoy State Fair Corn Dogs! They help fuel my kids’ play because they are a good source of protein, but they also helps moms win the day! They are great for an everyday snack or meal that kids prefer, especially with these dips, and we moms can trust them too!

Give this Tzatziki Dip a try with corn dogs!
Author:
Recipe type: dip
Ingredients
  • ½ English cucumber, peeled
  • 16 oz. (2 cups) Cold plain Greek yogurt
  • 4 cloves garlic, pressed
  • ⅓ cup chopped dill, fresh or frozen
  • 1½ Tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ½ tsp salt, or to taste
  • ⅛ tsp black pepper
Instructions
  1. Dice the cucumber finely. I did not dry or drain it as I wanted this to be a dippable sauce as opposed to a spreadable one. Grate the cucumber and add it to a bowl with Greek Yogurt. Add the garlic, dill, lemon juice, salt and pepper and blend well. Chill and serve.

All you need is about 1-2 tbsp. of mayo, depending on how many corn dogs you want to dress, bacon, lettuce and tomato.

In a bowl, mix the mayo, lettuce and tomato together. Place some on the top of the corn dog and then drop chopped bacon over the top. Make several and line them up. Then watch as people experience the new flavors coming together perfectly!
