I, for one, as a single mom, am totally looking forward to Tyler Perry’s THE SINGLE MOMS CLUB hitting theaters March 14, 2014! From the interviews I have seen with the cast, this movie is not a ‘woe is me’, I am a single mom. It is a funny movie about competent, intelligent women who are trying to have the time of their lives while being single moms!

As a single mom to three myself, I can relate to not being able to find time for me in the midst of kids and work and all of the other responsibilities in between! Most of my friends are married and have kids of their own. So I reserve ‘me’ time for when the kids are with my ex. But to have a group of female friends that are all in the same boat as I am, and to have those friends want to help all of us have our kids and our own live too, would be pretty cool!

So I am very much looking forward to the release of this film! I may have to go to the theater alone and see it!

All of the comments about when to introduce your kids to a man, and how to handle stress to how to absorb when your kids are mad at you and want to go live with the other parent are understood by single parents. And I can not wait to see how they all figure it out using each other as the support system they so badly need!

The Single Moms Club directed by and starring Tyler Perry as well as Amy Smart, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Cocoa Brown, Zulay Henao and Nia Long, is sure to leave you laughing well after the movie ends.
