Summer may be winding down, the seemingly endless Back to School shopping is under way and the last attempt to soak in the lack of schedule and responsibility of theseason. In my household, I am trying to spend as much time outside with my kids aspossible. Swimming, games and more are on the agenda. With every activity, snacksand drinks are needed. Ever since our discovery of the NEW Mott’s juice drink flavors, they have been top on the list of refreshments requested.
Usually my kids request water to drink but when they want something a little different, I am great with Mott’s Juice Drinks. With 40% less sugar* than fruit juices and 100% dailyvalue of vitamin C, I feel good about letting them have it. In addition, it is made with realfruit juice and has no artificial sweeteners.
On a hot Texas day, new flavors like Mott’s Fruit Punch Rush and Mott’s Strawberry Boom are a good refresher. My middle daughter, Sarah, is in love with Mott’s Wild Grape Surge.
The other day we really had nothing to do. A perfect lazy summer day with each other is almost a perfect day. But I wanted to get out. Instead of just pulling toy after toy out to play with and having me make them pick it up, I decided to take them outside to swing. Simply getting out of the house and playing with the kids resets all of our clocks. The sunshine, though hot, gleamed brightly as I pushed the kids and watched them fly through the sky, swinging higher with each push!
After a while they were thirsty and wanted to take a break. I had the Mott’s Juice Drinks on ice and ready for them to enjoy. We stayed and talked in the shade and soaked up family time on a Summer day that will always be a memory.
We don’t need a fancy last minute trip. We don’t need to spend hundreds at a water park. We just need each other, some playtime and a conversation that makes us all happy.
I love enjoying the last of summer with time together!
* Mott’s Juice Drinks have less sugar than 100% apple juice.
