I love entertaining in my home.  I love to create a party and watch as my family and friends enjoy the food that I have made and the decor I created.  And in Texas, no matter how hot it gets, outdoor events are still my favorite to throw.

As you all know, my neighbors are really special to me.  I am a very lucky woman to be on a street with four houses and dear friends with two of the women in the houses.  We sit out and relax and talk while the kids play.  They also help me a lot when I need it and are always there at a moments notice!  So, I wanted to do something nice for them to thank them for everything they do!

And the pieces are vibrant, colorful and sturdy!   I absolutely love them!

Armed with my new found awesome serving set, I invited my neighborhood pals to join me for a nice evening meal outside facing the pasture!  I made stat shaped blueberry ice cubes (just add blueberries to water in the molds before you freeze), and took some of my favorite off the shelf chicken salads and snacks and created a wonderful, light, outdoor meal.

We set the table and relaxed enjoying our spritzer and lemonade drinks and our salads while, literally, waiting for the cows to come home.  It was a lovely evening and I think my friends were impressed with the beautiful meal.
