As many of you know, we all woke up to a new Facebook news feed this morning. Once the Twitter streams started and exploded, the problems with the feed options became apparent. Especially for those of us trying to run a blog through our valuable contacts on Facebook.
All of a sudden, I can not see any of my friend’s blogs on my feed, nor can I find an easy way to add them. Which means that no one can find me. You can only imagine how this change has hurt us bloggers today. My traffic, exposure for my partnering companies and my ability to promote the deals that I spend hours finding, were all cut in half if not more in one day.
There are ways around the changes. You can change your page to the UK version and get the same page you had yesterday, you can create lists with your favorite pages on it and so on. But, in all honesty, a lot of us bloggers will lose readers that can not find us and move on. See this post from Frugally Thrifty to see how to make a list!
The reality of the situation is that Facebook is Facebook and they are not the easiest to figure out when they make changes. And they are not the most blog friendly platform out there. Even though they probably need us as much as we need them.
I have posted this request before, when Facebook deleted blog pages without any warning, asking that my readers please make sure that you subscribe to A Day in Motherhood so that you can get your daily emails as to what the deals, reviews/ giveaways and motherhood posts are. But I also belong to Google + and am building a page there!

So, please… if you appreciate what I do, the time I take in providing your with the best I can find, and my determination to be as honest and transparent as I can be, please choose to follow me in more than one way! Because some great deals only last a minute and I would hate for anyone to miss one because they don’t have time to make a list!
Thank you ALL for everything you do to for me!
