NETFLIX Just for Kids is Here & It is AWESOME

I am about to get seriously honest with you guys.  I am on a budget.  Recently, I got in a fight with my ‘big’ cable company over a $300 bill for two weeks of service. I even ranted on Facebook about and I NEVER do that!

Since that day – and the ridiculous stress of trying to get the ridiculous bill reduced – I have looked at my other options.  The number one thing people kept telling me was to get on NETFLIX – pay $7.99 a month for streaming shows and ditch the cable company.  To be honest, my hangup was that I feared the kids shows that buy me a half hour here and there were not available.  You know, Disney Junior, Cartoon Network and Hasbro.  All the networks I am paying $137 a month for.

Well, NETFLIX heard my woes and – just for me (what? a girl can embellish) – they have made available NETFLIX Just for Kids!

Yep – Jake and the Neverland Pirates, My Little Pony, Curious Georg, The Lorax, H2O: Just Add Water and SO MANY MORE shows geared at the ages 2 – 12 group are ready to stream live – with no commercials – for your kids entertainment!

Who is SO EXCITED?!?!

So, just to show you that if I can do it, you can do it, here is how NETFLIX works.

No longer must you order DVD’s and wait the agonizing one day it takes for it to get to you.  Well, you can still do that if you want but if you don’t want to explain to the children that Angelina Ballerina is not available for another day, then get live streaming, instant TV and video on almost any of your devices!

I am using my XBox and Xbox Live to run my Netflix.  It costs me $60 a year or $25 for 3 months or $10 a month for an XBox Gold Membership.  Add to that the $7.99 a month Netflix is and , theoretically, I am paying about $18.00 a month for a service that is costing me $137 currently.  Add in internet and my fax line that I need and I could save over 1/2 off my current bill.  AND I get instant shows, movies and none of the dreaded commercials!

But even better… even though I paid for XBOX Live, I could still – for only the $7.99 a month – stream Netflix on the girls tablets, my PC and even my phone.  With no price increase.

I seriously wonder if I will ever need cable again!  Especially if I can figure out a way to get internet and fax with out the big cable companies help!

Even if you LOVE your cable company, NETFLIX for kids is awesome for those summer road trips, nights at grandma’s and any other time that they have a special show and you want them to see it!
