Thanks to Walmart and Glidden Brillance Collection Paints, we have successfully turned our master bedroom into a retreat just for my husband and I! Are there still some children’s pictures around? Sure there are. But for the most part, we “grew” the room up and made it all about us!
In our previous two houses, we never got around to decorating and painting our masters so this make over was especially heartwarming for us!
The first thing I have to do is give amazing kudos to my very hard working husband. After working 21 days straight, on his first 3 days weekend, he moved furniture, painted and hung crown molding. The crown alone was a 12 hour job! I love you so much for all of your hard work!
Now, if you’ll remember, my previous master was nothing to jump up and down about!

As you can see, the room was boring and white, had a ton of kids pictures and stuff but had no peace and adultness for my husband and I! So we went to work painting with Glidden Brilliance Collection Paints and decor from Walmart. I wanted a peaceful, elegant room that seperated us from the rest of the kid overrun house!

I love the warm colors you chose! And the frame you husband made you is perfect! I think I need to tackle our master bedroom. We moved about a year and half ago and I have just sort of left it how it was when we moved in!
I will tell you, it makes such a difference in a master to have it done and peaceful!! We LOVE it!
Looks great! The color choices are so warm. I never thought about putting crown molding up in my room (we have an older house as well). I like it!

I love how he saved the “Always Kiss Me Goodnight”!!! I’ve thought about putting that up in my room and worried about if I ever repainted. Great idea. The room looks so nice and really warmed it up. Guess I need to get busy LOL.
