You know that mom who has that perfectly clean house, the kids with the matching bows, dresses and shoes no matter what, and the slim waistline that begs the question, “Did she really have those kids?“?  Yes.  She has problems too.

#MotherhoodNationPin It

You know that mom whose child is outside in just a diaper, never has on any make up and can’t seem to remember that playgroup starts 45 minutes before she shows up with excuses?  Yes.  She has successes too.

It is time, ladies, to stand strong and declare that we ALL are a part of Motherhood Nation!

Ready?  I am!

Because at some point, we all need to stand up and say, “I AM a Good Mom!” even if we don’t think so in our own heads!

I am all done with the ‘I know better than you’ arguments.  The judgements based on the latest research.  The declaration that one mother is better than another because she stayed up until 4am baking her kid’s birthday cake while I slept in and tried to remember which store I ordered my child’s from.

I am tired of the superiority complex of the tight dress wearing “I am not a mother but I read…’ group that thinks that I can get a screaming baby to hush in a store aisle simply by telling it to.

And I am tired of never telling another mother how awesome she is whether I know who she is or not.

So I am starting a new series.  I don’t know how often I will post it, hopefully a few times a week, but it will be the harsh truth about Motherhood and how it changes from mom to mom.  I’ll be admitting to my weaknesses while celebrating my strengths!

Come join me in my pursuit to build and support ALL of MOTHERHOOD NATION!

Standing together to get these kids raised and have the best Motherhood we can!

Who is in?  What do you want me to write about?  Research?  Understand about your Motherhood?  Please leave a comment below and let me know!
