I am at home missing my girls as they are with their dad. So, to beat the blues, I grabbed my computer and started looking for birthday gifts for my 5 year old who will be 6 in a month. Along the way, I found am amazing mother daughter pendant that I want to get for each of my daughters. I added some more that are a close second below too.

 Now, my girls are young – though I think my 7 year old would take care of these – but I am so incredibly tempted to get one for each of my girls so that they can have it later in life when we may be struggling in our relationship of teenage girls and overprotective mom.

Do you have a mother daughter pendant? Where did you get it? I have a few that my ex-husband purchased. I have also gotten some beautiful ones for my mother as a grandmother’s gift. They can be so special and such great reminders to use and our daughters that, no matter what, our bond is strong.

At what age do you think little girls should get mother daughter necklaces? Does your daughter have one?  My girls have some nicer jewelry put away but I wonder if, at least the older one, might be ready to take care of something if she understands the value of it to mommy’s heart.
