Keeping One Eyed Jack Active Means Taking Care of His Joints

About two months ago I watched my very healthy 14 year old terrier mix, Bud, succumb in a matter of days to a slipped disc in his back. Granted, he was older but, before it happened, he showed little signs of slowing down. What the experience taught me is that these dogs I have and love can be a lot more fragile than I anticipated. Thought I most likely could have done nothing for Bud to prevent the actual cause of his death, I can get educated about what I give my other dogs, like One Eyed Jack, to try to prevent any other ailments that could be devastating to their otherwise healthy lives. I trust and believe, through research and what I have seen in person, that Just Right by Purina has the ingredients in it to help me take the best care of my dogs. Since Bud’s illness I have become much more aware of the need to take care of Jack’s joints and mobility. As active as he is, this just helps give him a better life!

Salmon, chicken and lamb, for instance, delivers the Glucosamine, calcium and omega fatty acids these dogs need to have healthier joints. Healthier joints leads to more mobility which leads to a more active life for our dogs!

Since starting Jack on Just Right by Purina I have seen noticeable improvements. A shinier, softer coat and a brighter eye are obvious! His energy and weight levels are normal for a breed who tends to lose energy and gain weight as they age.

Knowing that underneath all of that he is also getting joint and mobility help is just a bonus!

No, I probably could not have done much about Bud and his illness that sent him over the rainbow bridge. But I sure can try to do everything I can for Jack to make sure the preventable does not happen.
