(HOUSTON) May 1, 2013 … Giraffes, rhinos and chimps are in focus for an African Forest safari during Photo Day at the Houston from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2013.
Whether you’re an established photographer or looking to try a Zoo experience like no other, this is one event you don’t want to miss. Many of our animals are most active in the cooler early morning hours. During Photo Day at the Houston Zoo these once-in-a-lifetime moments will be yours to capture.
Photo Day Ticket holders are treated to a continental breakfast, animal enrichment photo opportunities at giraffes, rhinos and chimps, and an opportunity to take photographs of the Zoo’s grounds and animal exhibits in the morning light before the Zoo opens to the public for the day.
Purchase tickets online. Walk-up registration is also available at 7 a.m. on the day of the event. Photo Day is a rain or shine event.
