I gained 10 pounds this summer. If you follow me on Instagram and Facebook, you know why. The kids and I traveled all over the place and not once did I worry about what I was eating. My waistline has paid the price for sure and now that the kids are back in school, it is time to whittle it away one pound at a time. More than being able to fit into the best pair of jeans this fall, I need to get my health in check. I am making great strides; playing tennis, walking, taking time to follow a real meal plan, but I am always looking for more ideas to help me! That is why I love Sam’s Club Healthy Living Magazine.
If you have not seen this amazing resource online or in stores, then it is time to get familiar with it! There are always great tips and articles that make me stop and think about how I can incorporate them into my life. For instance, the Staying Fit article in the July/ August 2015 magazine. For someone who needs motivation daily, this quick read has some great tips to keep me on track. Other articles like A YOGA Primer interests me as it explains the basics and makes me want to learn more too! I love that every magazine has great articles for baby, mom, grandma and more! They even have celebrity contributors like Terry Bradshaw!
With such a wealth of information in one magazine, I am bound to find something motivational and educational for me every month! Plus, I can find fun and delicious recipes like healthier living with Coconuts! I, personally, can not wait to try the Dark Chocolate protein bars!
Now, I go to Sam’s Club at least monthly so stocking up there is easy for me. In my opinion, Sam’s Club is the destination for everything you could possibly need to stay happy and well! Not only can I buy the veggies and fruit that I need in bulk, but I can get my monthly vitamins, prescriptions filled and stock up on water and other necessities. I love coming home with a car full of healthy stuff I will actually use!
Now that the kids are in school, I have no more excuses! I have to get up, get going, put good things in my body and make sure I have the vitamins and medication I need to age gracefully (another great article in the July/ August 2015 magazine!)
