My children are my absolute favorite people in this world. Hands down. No competition anywhere. One of my favorite things about them is that they remind me that imagination is beautiful. These kids can watch something, read something or hear something and turn it into an amazing story – and sometimes show – that they can not wait to tell me. I love feeding their imagination and watching the process work. It reminds me that I have one too and that family fun night can be every night if we all use it. When I find things that I know they will love but that will also fuel the desire to imagine, I go all in. When I can do it with characters I grew up loving, the experience is even more satisfying! When I was young I remember the radio on the kitchen counter. It was at my grandmother’s house and the simple click of the dial turned it on and tuned us in. The products we used for our celebration were a  fun Mystery Machine model kit from Revell with all of the characters and a creative Crafty Cooking  Kids set that the kids used to create the most fun Scooby-Doo themed house!

As we curled up and listened to the Scooby-Doo! Mystery Inc. Theater skill for Amazon Alexa, I watched as my kids told Alexa which way they wanted the story to go. The experience offers numerous different story-line combinations for hours of content so the kids never got bored of where the story went.

This really is very cool. With just your Alexa enabled device, which we all have anyway (Or your Amazon Echo or Dot), you can take your family on a spooky adventure with Scooby-Doo and the gang right in your own living room.
