My friend called me the other day with a question. How can she make goodie bags for her son’s birthday party that are fun, something different and MARVEL themed? I immediately thought of the MARVEL Chewy Granola Bars that I picked up at Target the other day. Now, there are Chewy Granola Bars and then there are MARVEL Chewy Granola Bars! Marvel Chewy Granola Bars are super cool so they are automatically a purchase for this house. With 6 different wrappers: Captain America, Hulk, Spider Man, Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor AND packaging that includes 4 collector cards – Hulk, Iron Man, Hawk Eye, and Spider Man, these are more than just a snack. These pack a Super Hero Powerful Punch!
For as long as I can remember, Chewy Granola Bars have been a staple in this house. In fact, I remember having them in my pantry as a child, coming home from school, hungry for something sweet. I love that they are easy to carry, easy to eat and delicious for my children. I have been known to have one during the day as well. They are just so good! Don’t be fooled by my having all girls, though. They are just as into MARVEL super heroes as anyone else so the packaging is a big draw for them as well! Plus, the Super Hero Snack Bars are 40% bigger based on weight of 24g chewy bar!
I originally stumbled upon them on a trip to Target with my children. As we grabbed some boxes, we need all the cards after all!, I thought that these would be the perfect snack to add to their backpacks with a little note from mom! Things like, ‘KAPOW!! That Spelling Test Today!’ and ‘Use Your Powers for Learning!’
Making these was so easy.
- Purchase some printable labels at Target in the office supply area.
- Using the web address they gave me on the back of the package, edit one of their premade templates with a message.
- Printed them right to your printer on regular paper.
- Cut them out and used a ribbon to tie them to the MARVEL Chewy Granola Bars.
They came out so cute and are even perfect for party tables and more!
Along those lines, I also wanted to help my friend with her fun party favors. I know it is easy and cheap to stuff a bag full of candy and hand it over. But I like to make my goodie bags more useful for children. So while lazily repeating the words, ‘No, you may not have that!‘ through the aisles of Target, I also found some really cute MARVEL super hero socks that were really affordable, some MARVEL super hero cups and some super hero pencils. Add those to the MARVEL Chewy Granola Bars and these were shaping up to be an Easy Super Hero Party Favor!
- Simply roll up the socks and stuff them in the cups.
- Add the pencils and the MARVEL Chewy Granola Bars and you are done!
So simple, so easy and so fun to hand out! Add them to any party table and watch as kids leave with something fun and unique with a happy mom that has something her child will actually use!
