I have been a Dove user for years. From the bar soap to the body washes, the soaps leave me feeling clean without soapy residue that I can get from other brands. In general, I have pretty normal skin. But in the winter months, I do get the occasional dry feeling and it bugs me. The tightness, itchiness and just uncomfortableness is annoying, to say the least! Lately, with changing weather patterns I have been feeling that dryness come back. So I grabbed my Dove Deep Moisture and dared it to make me feel better!
First and foremost, the smells that Dove products have are amazing. And these NEW body washes are no different. I felt like one of those ladies in the commercial that holds the bottle up and inhales with that goofy smile. But, seriously, with the clean, sweet scents, it’s hard not to want to be that woman!
I originally thought with the NutriumMoisture formula that the soap would be too thick to lather and I would get more of a soapiness than a rick lather. But I was wrong! The Deep Moisture lathered up and gave me that “I know I am clean” feeling all at the same time! The Glycinate ingredient, typically found in high-end body washes, not only reduces damage to proteins during cleansing, but also creates a soap-comparable lather that rinses cleanly.
As I finished my shower, I could feel my skin breathing again. I could tell that will daily use, that dry feeling I get when the weather is changing would not be a problem anymore. And I did not feel like I had a residue after either. I never do with Dove, though, so I was not surprised!
But one use is not enough! I will be using New Dove Deep Moisture for a few weeks and then will come back and tell you guys how my skin feels!
