My kids had a fun filled Easter including two Easter egg hunts, two Easter baskets and lots of fun!  I love that they get up in the morning and are as excited about Easter as they are about Christmas!  Easter is one of my favorite holidays because I love the message, the family time and the enjoyment of putting together their baskets for them!

This year, knowing that they would be overwhelmed by candy from the festivities, I decided to do Easter baskets that included something more than candy!  And when it comes to goodies that my kids get most excited about, it is Nickelodeon characters – like Dora and Boots and Spongebob – and anything at all that bears their photos!

So when I headed to Walmart to help the Easter bunny along a bit, I had two words on my list:  Dora and Spongebob.  And it did not take long at all to find the perfect basket stuffer for all three of my girls – toothbrushes!  Yes, right there in a display outside of the Easter aisle sat a display with Colgate Nickelodeon toothbrushes and toothpaste!  There were automatic toothbrushes, manual toothbrushes and character Colgate toothpaste!

Now, before you think  I’ve lost my marbles giving my children oral hygiene products on a day that is classically about candy, my kids LOVE to brush their teeth and will do it five times a day if their favorite characters are on the brushes. Plus, any mom will probably agree that it is easier to get kids to do things they may not like when their cartoon friends are there to help!  So these were the perfect gifts for my kids.  I grabbed an electric toothbrush, a manual toothbrush and some Colgate toothpaste for each of their baskets!

I hunted around some more and was happy that I did not have to search for long for more Nickelodeon character items!  I found Dora, Diego and Spongebob shaped candy inside of eggs, coloring book sets and more right on the Easter aisle!  I got everything home, covertly stuffed it away and anxiously awaited bedtime!

And then the bunny’s helper went to work!  I wrapped the toothbrushes and toothpaste in cute little carrot bags, added the Nickelodeon character eggs and coloring packs!  The baskets turned out so cute!  And true to what I thought, my kids went nuts when they opened their baskets and saw the Dora and Spongebob loot!  They must have brushed their teeth four times yesterday!

And, as a mom, I love that!!

Head over to Walmart and stock up on Dora and Spongebob toothbrushes!  They are easy to find in the store and the consummate helper come teeth brushing time!  And help your kids keep those Easter Smiles all year long!
