- NRG Portable Power also provides another service – the NRG Street Charge® station, a 12.5-foot tower equipped with solar panels and a bevy of mobile device charging cables where consumers can plug in and charge their mobile device for free. There will be nine Street Charge stations placed all around the grounds of NRG Park, including inside NRG Stadium.

- Last year, NRG completed installation of 599 solar panels above walkways and gathering places around NRG Park.
- The panels cover the two pedestrian bridges at Kirby Drive, stadium entrance at Budweiser Plaza and NRG EVgo charging station lot.
- These installations are expected to generate 181KW of renewable energy.
