Every year our neighborhood has Breakfast with Santa. We have homemade pancakes to order, sausage, hot cocoa and coffee and we all meet at the duck pond to celebrate!
In the past few years it has taken over dressing the kids up, heading to the mall, spending all of that time – and money – to get a so so photo and is quickly becoming a Christmas tradition. Plus it gives us neighbors a chance to mingle and visit while the kids play and talk to Santa!
Here are our photos for this year!
Katie and Santa
Takin my kiddies to see Santa tomorrow…there’s like an outdoor thing that I’ve never been to (and it figures that the year I finally decide to go, there’s no snow) that has sleigh rides, sledding, a petting zoo, pictures with Santa, concession stands…nervous about lugging this fat 7 month old of mine around because it’s just me and the kids and no dad, but my oldest will LOVE it, so I’m excited, too.
Oh that will be SO MUCH FUN!! It was in the 60’s here and I was husbandless too! But, my kids all walk! :) I want to know how it goes so let me know!!! You can even post photos here if you want!
What a fun & creative idea! Looks like the kids had fun! I can’t believe how much they want for pics with Santa at the mall. One small pic was going to be $22! I left that line real quick!
