Movies continue to be a hit in our house. I have LOVED being an ambassador for the awesome show and toy line known as Tickety Toc! Tallulah and Tommy, along with their pets and friends, are instant favorites. My kids are still playing with their Tickety Toc house and loving it. So when the new DVD, The Unstoppable Unpoppable Bubble, hit shelves, I knew it would be a favorite here too!
Sure enough, my girls saw the cover and instantly requested a movie night. In an effort to amp up the excitement, stay with the theme and to have my kids eat healthier, I decided to create and egg and veggie clock plate snack! It was simple and my kids loved snacking on the ‘time’!
Simply boils some eggs and slice them. Place them – twelve around, of course – on a plate. Add carrots for the time markers, and then a line of broccoli as the hands. I used guacamole as the dip (I wanted to use a Cedar’s dip but my store did not carry them. Check your store!) and – wala – the perfect snack for the hugely entertaining movie, Tickety Toc: The Unstoppable Unpoppable Bubble!
On the DVD, Tallulah and Tommy test McCoggins’ unpoppable bubble formula. But as the bubble continues to grow, it engulfs the whole town! They need to get out of the bubble in time to chime and must work together to make that happen!
Five other adventures complete this DVD that, literally, had my kids laughing out loud! I just love shows like this that teach valuable human interaction with laughter and fun! Of course, now, my kids want to make an unstoppable bubble…
