Royal Sonesta -The Galleria

The newly renovated Royal Sonesta Houston, is in an exquisite area where you can shop, dine, and be entertained in Uptown Houston. This AAA rated, Four Diamond, 23-story hotel is modern and located near perfect destinations which include downtown, the Texas Medical Center and the Museum and Theater Districts.

I was lucky enough to stay at the hotel on one of my summer staycations! I used to work in the Galleria Area as a stockbroker but had not really stayed as a ‘vacationing’ patron. I have to tell you, the updates they have done on this hotel are amazing. It is cozy but spacious, homey but elegant and a definite must. Close to the Galleria shopping mall, it is a stone’s throw from some of the most prestigious shopping in America.

As with most fine hotels, you can still get that workout in away from home, whether you’re here for business or pleasure. Dine with them at the Axis Lounge or grab a cup of joe at PJs Coffee. Plan a wonderful & relaxing getaway or have somewhere lovely and comfortable to stay during your business trip. Bring the whole family along, (Fido too!), where you can make long lasting memories.
