It is hard to decorate when you have three daughters. Giving them each individuality when they share everything is hard. That is why I really wanted to learn more about RoomLookz and the wonderful products they have to help decorate a tweens space. Even if it is just the desk area!
It all started with the super easy Design a Room feature on the RoomLookz website. I was able to choose everything from the color of the wallpaper to a fun lamp and mix and match colors to come up with something I thought my Sarah would really love. She is my child that is not really into pink and likes to show her style by stepping out of the box. As I poured over wallpaper, magnets, pillows and more, I could design and redesign until I got it perfect. If you need more help, check out the How To Videos that can help you make the space pop!
RoomLookz takes on the same mission of nationally touted LockerLookz by turning drab but necessary spaces (the interior of a school locker) into inviting, trendy surroundings with color, patterns, fashion and fun. Who wouldn’t want to pour over homework sheets when they get to lean against a fur pillow or gaze at a tabletop lamp with an aqua grosgrain bow that complements the hand-picked aqua dot wallpaper?
I have to say, I am totally impressed with everything that I ordered. Originally I was not sure about the wallpaper, assuming it would be hard to adhere to my walls. But I decided that it was needed to complete the look. Much to my surprise, the large roll of paper that easily gives you more than you need, sticks easily and is transferable! So when I move Sarah’s desk from the living room to her room in later years, I can move the paper too! And I can do so without damaging my walls!
The white board was another must have for my Sarah! She loves to display her school photos and to write notes to herself. With the included magnets and the pink flower magnets I also got her, this versatile board will be a home base for the things she loves most!
I added a sweet black and white caddy and one of the LED Motion Sensor lamps to Sarah’s space as well! Since her space also acts as the household kid’s computer, I needed to give her some light and a place to keep pens, pencils and markers. The girlie touch with the fun designs makes the whole spot pop!
Now that Sarah has her special spot, I see her sitting there, doing homework, working on Math on the computer and learning in a space designed just for her! I absolutely LOVE this idea and highly recommend this totally affordable option for giving that little girl in your life a special place to be! This and the Lockerlookz line would be an awesome addition under the tree for any tween or teen!
