My Roominate Playdate Caused a Lot of Play and Imagination and WIN a Roominate Studio Set

A while ago the girls and I fell in love with Roominate! Since the introduction, their interest in Roominate and all things building has increased. Since we love to share awesome things we discover that takes toys to an educational level, we invited some friends over for a Roominate party! We recieved 2 Roominate Studios, a Roominate 3-in-1 Helicopter and some super awesome T-shirts for the kids for this party! I set up a building stations and off we went!

I set up set up 3 stations: one for the kids to build the structure of the Roominate design, one for building furniture pieces, and one for adding paper decorations to the master Roominate creation. I’ll be honest, it started out well but soon all of the groups were swapping pieces and making something other than what the design was supposed to be. But that is what I love about Roominate. You can mix and match the pieces to create anything you want!

The thing that is most fascinating about this product though, is that you can make a fan or helicopter blades or some other piece and with the mechanics included, you can make them move! I took a ton of videos of this but none came out so I am sharing this great video from YouTube to show you how easy they are to make and use!

Once the girls started building everything from chairs to rooms to helicopters and more, they did not stop. This is definitely a building toy that holds their attention. I had 10 little girls here and every single one was working together to create whatever they want. This had to be one of the best toys that are really educational that are out on the market today!
