The sun is shining, the birds are chirping and my kids need to go outside! No more stuck in the house because it is cold excuses! I’ll open the windows, breath in the air and let the joy of warmer weather consume me. ‘But mooooommm, we’re booored.’ Well I can solve that one easily, thank goodness! I walked to my office and got a really long box. I took it outside, curious little girls following close behind, and started to assemble the Pacific Play Tents Canvas Teepee. The coolest thing about this? They can paint the canvas to be whatever they want all on their own!

I thought I might need to check out the YouTube video on how to set up the teepee, but it turns out it was pretty easy. It did take me a little while to realize I has put one piece together incorrectly but, other than that, it was up and ready to paint in about 10 minutes. Having three kids anxiously wanting to help slowed me down!

Once up, I was impressed. The Canvas TeePee is sturdy with thick canvas that wraps around three sides and has a tie opening in the front. It is pretty large and my kids easily fit inside. So did my dogs to my kids amusement.

I opened the paint for the girls that came with the teepee and let them go. No instruction needed here as they painted happily and created fun designs on the teepee. I could have sat forever and watched them as they admired their work of art in progress! The great thing about this is that they it is so large, one painting session may not be enough! We have pulled it out and painted again througout the weeks!

Since the kids painted it, they love to play in it and have turned it into yet another reading nook! I have even gotten in it to look around and it is a pretty cool place to hang out!
