Hello Hello my good friends!

This week saw me doing the happy dance for many a reason!

I got my new shipment of Nutrisystem foods, laughing as my stomach growled while unloading it.  Proof that more than my taste buds approve of the cuisine!  I realized that I was no where near drinking enough water and increased it…  dramatically – and that was pretty easy!

And I received my awesome Nutrisystem water bottle – a coveted addition, I might add, to help me along my water journey!

But, I saw confusion at weigh in this morning.

When I got up – after yet another restless night – thanks kids – I weighed in.

162.8

A LOSS!  But a disappointing loss of only .4 pounds.

And then I weighed again – because I do the best of 2 out of 3 – and it was 163.

Frustrated and knowing I worked hard this week, I left the scale and went about getting my girls to pre – school.  I told myself I would do my 3rd weigh in when I got home.

At 10:30am, I got back on the scale.

161.3….

Ummmmm….

Again –

161.3

Weird.

And a 3rd time?

161.3.

And that is a loss of almost 2 pounds which would be much more in line with what I thought my week would produce.  Especially after my water consumption increased to 96 ounces a day starting on Monday.

Though I am not sure if I lost half a pound or two pounds – I’ll have to get on the awesome discussion boards at www.Nutrisystem.com to clear it up – I am very proud of myself for sticking to my water goals!

So – here is the deal.  I weigh either 162.8 or 161.3.  And though the normal amount of water every person should be having a day is 8 glasses, or 64ounces, research has said that people who are heavier or trying to get their weight in check should divide their weight by 2 and that is how many ounces their body needs!

I would need approximately 81.4 ounces a day.  Somehow I have translated that in my head to 96 ounces-  or 3 Nutrisystem water bottles!  Amazingly it is so easy to drink the water now, on day 5, that yesterday I had 128 ounces! Without even really trying!

If I carry it everywhere – assuming I can wrestle it out of my 20 month olds hands long enough to carry it anywhere – I find that drinking it is second hand.  Funny since I have had nothing but iced tea for the last few years!

So besides the amazing food, the easy to follow step by step plan, and the motivating message boards and chat options on the website, the water bottle is my new favorite Nutrisystem item!

Now if I could just figure out what my scale is being so spastic about, I would be thrilled!

OH – if I am at 162.8 – I have lost 5.5 pounds in 4 weeks!  If I am at 161.3, I have lost 7!
