After picking out Brody’s school colors for his key chain, we read the easy to follow directions and set up the kit.  Now, Brody is 7 and he was able to follow the directions for setting up the cords, but we figured out the rest together.  The weaving was a little hairy the first go-around, but after that, it is a breeze! So we continued to wrap and weave…

We did take a few breaks, but all in all, it probably took about an hour or so to finish the project. My 4 year old helped occasionally, but it will take a few more times for her to catch on.  It is always a joy for me to watch my children create a project.  They can simply enjoy the fact that their little hands (and brains) did all of the work!
