I suppose I no longer qualify as a mom who has an infant anymore.  No matter how much I call her ‘baby’, my youngest is almost 4.  But I will always be a mom that wants to give the best to and for my kids, right down to the soaps and lotions I use on their delicate skin.

Mommy's Bliss

When I heard that the makers of one of the best colic treatments on the market had create the first and only line of totally natural bedtime baby products, I had to get my hands on some and try it on my children.  Luckily, they were receptive and a week or so later, I was excited to get my package.

Included in the new line are Mommy’s Bliss Sweet Slumber 3-In-1 Baby Wash, Mommy’s Bliss Sweet Slumber Massage Cream and Mommy’s Bliss Sweet Slumber Mist.  All three of these new releases contain essential oils that are historically associated with relaxation and sleep such as English Lavender Oil, German Chamomile Extract and Ylang Ylang Flower Oil, among other natural, soothing botanical ingredients.

Plus, the Sweet Slumber line is 100% vegetarian and vegan and their packaging is 100% recycled with post-consumer resin. Gentle enough for daily use, these products are all hypoallergenic and contain no artificial fragrances, gluten, soy, alcohol, sulfates phthalates or parabens.

Mommy's Bliss

But as good as it looks on paper and as easy as it is to pick up at my local Walgreen’s store, I knew that to talk about it truly, it HAD to work.  Sleep is precious and our infants have a hard time falling asleep and staying asleep.

In lieu of an infant, my three daughter’s became test subjects.  Even at 6, 5 and 3, I need all the help at bedtime I can get.

So as bedtime has come night after night, I have given them evening baths – which they all declare they love the scent of – rub them down with the lotion and mist their pillows and room so that the delicate aroma wafts through the air.  I could seriously fall asleep in their room in an instant.

And, believe it or not, to my complete shock and surprise, my little bounce off the walls, find every excuse in the world to stay up all night, play off of each other, little girls, were fast asleep in less than five minutes.   I am so not kidding and would never EVER joke with a mom.

I don’t now if it was the body wash, the gentle massages they all got or the ‘magic spray’ as I called it, but thiese are the easiest night at bedtime I have had in 6 years!

Mommy's Bliss

I totally recommend moms to get Mommy’s Bliss.  Not only is it natural and smells amazing, but it really seems to help at bedtime.  I am already planning a trip to Walgreens to get more!
