We always make our last trick or treat stop at my parents house where the kids get all the leftover treats!
Our tradition used to be my husband would take the kids out trick or treating and I would stay home handing out candy. But now that the kids are 25 and 16 and we now live in a state that only celebrates Halloween for 2 hours the Thursday before, we won’t be doing much of anything other than handing out candy now.
We host an annual halloween party that’s become a really fun tradition.

We don’t have any specific traditions for Halloween but we do attempt to take my son to as many age appropriate Halloween events as possible.

dressing up for trick or treating and the adult , we dress up to hand out candy. We also have a neigh”boo”hood block party halloween bash every year.
We decorate with my 8 foot spider and decorate the entire house.
We watch all the good halloween movies and eat tons of pumpkin flavored treats :)

We like having a tradition of watching all of the Roseanne halloween episodes as a family. They are always so much fun.

We love to dress up and put up decorations. The biggest task is dressing up the cats!
Carving pumpkins was everyone’s favorite!! After carving the pumpkins we would toast the pumpkin seeds together.

We’re “THAT” house in the neighborhood for Halloween. We majorly decorate the yard, and we get dressed up and scare everyone. :) (OK, we don’t scare the tee tiny kids, but if you’re older than 7 or 8, you’re fair game. The older, the more game you get. LOL)

I have no kids of my own yet, so currently we always decorate pumpkins every year, and we always go to the corn maze and pumpkin patch. We do hand out candy each year,too!
