We are a busy household. I am a single mom to three daughters and four dogs and the mess of my day can be catastrophic. I have a chewer. My newest rescue, Joy, is still a baby. She went after my sofa and has taken aim at shoes, clothing and pillows. I dug back in my memory bank to the last time I had a puppy and recalled that having a toy box full of perfectly chew-able toys helped a lot.
