But the fact that I have to vacuum this house on a daily basis just to keep the dog hair, dirt from tennis shoes and every day specs of life out makes vacuuming no fun at all. But we all know that we don’t read all of that and think, “I Want one!’ We see that we press a button and a vacuum cleaner does the work while we do what ever else is more pressing! But even more importantly, we want to know if it really WORKS!!

I have to say, It so DOES! I have had the Roomba a few weeks now and am so impressed with the fact that I can set it and forget it. I am shocked at the things it picks up, and I am in love with the fact that is is so slim it can go under couches and chairs and beds with total ease. It reaches places I never think of!

I use the two barrier blockers it comes with to keep it away from my computer cords and away from the dog’s water dish. I don’t want it cleaning up water and possibly shorting out. So I love these automatic sensors that drive it in another direction. Those really do work too!

I have to say, I am almost to the point of happy tears to have this in my home. The dog hair is significantly less, the dirt from the tennis shoes disappears before it annoys me and I have this feel of a cleaner home. It does make noise as it goes, much like a regular vacuum, but a little quieter, and it does need to be stopped so I can clean out the dirt holder, but to be able to work or fold laundry or do anything else while my house is being vacuumed is as close to a full time housekeeper I will ever get!
