How To Organize a Master Closet with Closet Organizers USA:  The Delivery

It really has been quite a transformation.  We went from a cramped, impossible to use space to a beautiful, elegant, organized – and with space still to fill – closet!  And we could not be happier!

You can look back at the previous posts to see more photos of the before closet but here is one for comparison:

And here is the same shot with the new closet organizer in:

Plus the left and right sides:

And because these photos do not do it justice, here are some more with each little detail including EMPTY shelves!  YES!  And the only thing we moved out of the closet in the transition was a bag of old bedding that we donated.  Otherwise, even the TV went back in!

Notice how neat and clean everything is.  And how organized.  The actual closet did not grow, but the storage space, the organizational options, and the flexibility of the space has.  I love the easy to adjust shelves, the self closing drawers, and the deep shelves that even hold my SHOES!  Yes, it does seem uppity to put my shoes on my shelves.  But, really, they would just sit empty otherwise!

And I have to tell you a little about the drawers!  My husband grew up installing cabinetry and doing woodworking and he is VERY impressed with the solid wood material and high quality drawer slides.  He noted that the drawers have dovetail construction which is the highest quality construction style and said that these drawers will last a lifetime! Here are a few pictures so you can see why he is so ecstatic about them:

I am IN L O V E with my new closet and eternally grateful to Closet Organizers USA for giving us this opportunity to revamp our closet with a quality, elegant, functional organizer!

And just by adding this to our home, ours retailed at $1,932.58, we have added probably double that to the value of our home.  It is just a smart move for any homeowner!

And remember:  Your closet is Always 15% off when ordered online!  AND now through September 30, 2011, all Cherry organizers are an additional 10% OFF!  Talk about some savings!

Plus, FREE SHIPPING when ordered online as well!

And because the good people at Closet Organizers USA are so amazing, they are offering one of my readers a chance to WIN a Closet Accessories Pack valued at $170!

Having to share a closet with my 11yr old niece! My mother adopted the kids so I ended up having to share my room and closet with my niece. Needless to say half my stuff is now in baskets all over the already crowded room.

My challenge is too much stuff and no planning.

That looks amazing! My husband planned on re-organizing my closet, oh, about six years ago.

My closet suffers from “dump it on the floor while trying to get ready and rush out the door”-itis. It’s a chronic condition…

My closet is a VERY tiny walk-in that has one wire rack on the right side for hanging clothes. I have no room for shelves or hanging on the other side. We have absolutely no room and I just don’t know what to do.

My worst closet challenge is my husband’s closet because he ends up putting everything and anything in his closet.

My biggest challenge is the size of my closet. It’s so small that I don’t have room for everything.

We just bought a 1970s fixer upper.  The closets are covered in paneling and have decrepit wooden shelves that wobble and fall with barely a touch.  Try to hang on t-shirt on the bar and it falls to the ground.  All 4 closets in the house are this way.  A complete disaster.

My biggest problem is that I never want to throw anything away so I have all kinds of things I haven’t worn in years and just don’t want to get rid of it! I need help!

My challenge is shoes!  I don’t have THAT many but what I do have, there’s no room for!  The ones that don’t fit on the over the door shoe rack thingy currently sit at the foot of our bed. I would love to be able to get them out of sight in the closet.

I think my worse closet organization would have to be trying to fit all my shorts, pants and jeans together without them bunching up to where i can’t fit any more hangers within the space! :/ (Bianca Roman)

My worst closet challenge was when we lived in a tiny house with a family of 7.  We only had two very small closets, and it was impossible to hang or put anything in them, so they would always end up on the floor, lol!

my hall closet/linen closet may be the worst disaster ever, well maybe the kids closet is up for a close second….i have no space and soo need to organize it better. right now my closet contents will burst out as soon as the door opens lol help!!!!

  49. Jessi Copeland October 2, 2011 at 7:03 am - Reply

We’re in the process of moving to a new house and it has the smallest closets ever!!!! At our old house we had a huge closet upstairs that was 12 ftx7 ft and it stored pretty much everything. Our bedroom closet at the new house is soo small we don’t know how we can hang up our clothes. We’re in the process of building a rod and makeshift hanger to place in our bedroom. My aunt suggested buying a tall dresser and placing it in the hallway but we can’t afford that right now. The kids closet is already packed with clothes and toys and stuff. Old houses are nice but they have zero storage!

My sweaters are the biggest thing I have trouble organizing. I don’t like to hang them and I don’t have room for them in my dresser. Ugh.

  51. PJsFile13 October 3, 2011 at 10:50 pm - Reply

Hanging clothes of all different lengths, tops, slacks, skits and dresses (full length) cause a lot of wasted space. I would love to redo my closet and have looked at several systems but I really don’t know where to start. They are expensive, so I want to be sure I am getting the best use of the space the first time.
Love your makeover. Thanks for sharing.

Sometimes, organizing is not as easy as it seems, which means we need all the help we can get. Even if you have your dream closet but are not organized, your closet will surely look tacky and unappealing. Having the right materials and methods plus the right attitude will sure make an organizing a closet a breeze!
