Winter, Spring, Summer & Football Seasons are all part of a regular year in this home. These game day recipes using Dexas kitchen products made prep time super easy, festive and fun! I admit… I am huge kitchen gadget fanatic and when this opportunity came along I was dancing around the kitchen like a kid in a candy store. Dexas KlipKup™ is fabulous for easy access to any kind of dip, fruits, vegetables, lemon wedges or any other add-on for parties and home entertaining. It easily clips to the side of a bowl; inside or outside, depending on your needs. I have used the 8″ Popware Strainer/expandable & collapsible so many times in the last week. This excellent strainer is absolutely a must have, and it will replace three of my smaller strainers. Why 3? Well, this strainer has a deep center, so even though it is smaller at only 8″, it holds much more than my standard shallow strainers. What will I do with all of the extra room in my cabinet… well… I am so impressed with Dexas products, that I just may need to invest in a few more of their quality kitchen items.
These are heavy duty, multi-purpose tools that have made my kitchen more simple and efficient. The collapsible KlipScoops are fabulous for baking products. You can use the clip to keep a perfectly tight seal on the ingredients, then measure the amount you need without the dreaded search for your measuring cups (P.S. they are in your daughter’s toy box).
The collapsible 10″ Pop Colander is quite handy, available in a multitude of colors, with such an innovative design. Here are the details for this nifty gadget. First, it is light weight and slim. Slim? Yes, it actually folds up as the legs close in, the silicone draining area collapses and you are talking about a one inch x 10 inch colander. (Grandma would be so impressed with the size and ease, keep her in mind for the holidays!) Washing these items is a snap! No more stuck-on, scrubbing, spraying and soaking; just toss them in the dishwasher and walk away! (It is almost time for kickoff)!
As the first quarter is underway, I want to just introduce you a little recipe we will be preparing at half-time. There’s nothing like home field advantage, and Dexas understands that American designed products are undeniably a quality score!
Let me tell you about the Dexas Grippboard with non-slip edges. The sides grip easily to your counter top to prevent sliding while you are trying to serve up a gourmet meal! Now is a great time to spruce up your holiday cooking with a new cutting board! The Fill-A-Baster is one of my absolute favorite Dexas kitchen products! It actually has an easy open, snap lock top to fill the baster. Yep, you heard me right, no more squeezing up juices to only fill up half the baster. Secret… I totally cheated on this one and filled it with caramel to decorate a cheesecake. I decorate chocolate candy for the holidays, so I’m giving you the heads up on the many uses! The Fill-A-Baster comes with a open hole pointed tip (which I used to decorate) and also a brush tip to use on the grill or any brushing needs while you bake. I will be using the Fill-A-Baster to decorate all of my chocolates this year, it is simply no hassle decorating and goes right in the dishwasher safely.
The Spoon & Strain Tongs were absolutely perfect when serving the chicken bites, but we have also used them multiple times. They work extremely well for salads, meat sauces, vegetables and so much more! The Dexas Salad/Party Bowl is a perfect size for entertaining and mixing. I used it for both as we tossed some apples in cinnamon and sugar. The upward curvature of the sides prevents spills, but the light weight makes it extremely versatile.
