Yes, alert the media, Lori has created an easy, delicious, totally fun meal for her and her kids! All it took was a quick trip to Sams Club, a desire to get a meal on the table quickly and easily that my kids would actually eat, and great ideas from some of my favorite brands and wala – Fast Chicken Parmesan Bake!
Tyson, as you know, is a mainstay in my freezer. But sometimes, I want to take the foods they have and turn them into something awesome. So, using Tyson Fully Cooked Crispy Chicken Strips, Chef’s Daily Spaghetti and Hunt’s Tomato Sauce – and a few other ingredients – I chopped, stacked, baked and ate with happiness with my kids!
Now, before I forget and get all into how fun and easy this recipe is, MAKE Sure you MARK YOUR CALENDAR for the upcoming #SamsDemo coming to your store!

Now, back to my recipe – or creation ala Lori!
Seems pretty easy huh? It IS!
So a few things. If you are shopping at Sam’s for your Daily Chef Spaghetti and Hunt’s Tomato Sauce, you can also pick up Tyson Fully Cooked Breaded Chicken Breast Patties to use in this dish as well. My store did not have the patties – at least that location did not at the time – so I picked up the Tyson Fully Cooked Crispy Chicken Strips. They worked just as well, I thought!
Creating this recipe was easy. I boiled the Daily Chef Spaghetti – which I found easily along with the Hunt’s Tomato sauce on shelves at Sam’s – heated up the sauce and then tackled the chicken. It took about 8 to cover my casserole dish so I diced up 8 strips. I have little kids and any cutting I can do ahead of time is a bonus!
And then I started stacking! Just like a lasagna, you layer to the top! The bottom layer is the Al Dente spaghetti, then I added a little sauce to add moisture through the bake process, layer with the cooked, diced chicken strips, then layer with the nontraditional – but oh so flavorful, Provolone cheese. Top with the rest of the sauce, bake it at 350 until it is bubbly, sprinkle with Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese and you have a super flavorful, cheesy, fun dish that you kids will LOVE!
Speaking of kids… talk about a BIG HIT!
I paired the dish which I explained as Chicken Nuggets and Spaghetti – that was the kicker, you know, the explanation – with some pear and apple slices and they were happy little girls! Because what is the point of a fun, family meal if the family won’t eat it?
I, personally, was quite proud of myself! I think the taste of this dish is outstanding and I credit the high quality ingredients for making it so!
Be sure to head out to Sam’s Club this weekend for your Demo! Come back and tell me what you created after your shopping trip!
