If you read this blog at all, you know that we LOVE Dora here! And so any time a new one comes in there is celebration, counting in Spanish and the “Swipper No Swipping” conversation.
The newest DVD that hits shelves on September 13, 2011, is Dora’s Enchanted Forest Adventures!
The moment this DVD hit our door, the girls immediately started requesting it for any act of kindness. Like picking up one single block in a pile of 30.
This 3 episode DVD – with the last being a double feature – starts with The Tale of the Unicorn King. As Dora and Boots help Unicornio, the new King, overcome his shyness and trust that he has what it takes to be King!
In The Secret of Atlantis, Diego joins Dora and Boots in the quest to help the dragons and the unicorns settle their feud so Atlantis can rise once again.
The double feature episode, Dora Saves King Unicornio, Dora and friends have to help King Unicornio plug the dam or the entire enchanted forest will flood!
The episodes on the DVD feed into each other and add to that mystical world that my girls love to visit with their friend, Dora and her friends!
This is a great addition to a stocking for your Dora fan!
You can purchase Dora’s Enchanted Forest Adventures at your favorite retailer or head over to Amazon.com to get it on sale!
**Entry Change** I am getting a lot of emails from people who can not figure out how to attach photos. So, tell me a funny Dora moment with your child/ grandchild and that will count too!**
To help celebrate the launch of the fun DVD this week, I am throwing a 12 hour ONLY FUN Giveaway for your own copy of this DVD! My Facebook fans and I discussed and decided that it would be fun if the ONLY entry required was to post a picture of your child in Dora (or Diego) garb with a relating comment, or to find a photo of Dora or any of the cast of characters online and post it here (please make sure they are not copywrited or from spam sites) with a fun caption!
One entry will be chosen and win using a random generator!
That is it! How fun is that?
(If you need any help at all with this, send me an email and I will do my best! (lomargieatgmaildotcom)
The 12 Hour ONLY giveaway starts Friday, September 16th at 8am CST and ends Friday night at 8pm CST! The winner will be announced within 24 hours! And the winner has 48 hours to accept the prize! US ONLY 18+!

My son saying that he wanted to be Boots so that he could climb a tree.
My youngest had a birthday last month and she said she wanted a Spongebob cake. So after I ordered her cake, she changed her mind saying she wanted a Dora cake. I still got the Spongebob cake but now my oldest, who is about to turn 8 tomorrow, was sreaming she wants a Dora cake so she can rub it in her little sister’s face! So after my oldest teased my youngest about the cake, my youngest got on her Dora bike and ran over her big sister’s foot! I guess she really wanted that Dora cake…lol!!
Our littlest one calls her Ora and and her pal Oots… I LOVE it!!!
Thanks for the opportunity!

When my daughter was first learning to walk she’d watch dora and at the end jump and run and do her “we did it” dance with dora…no matter where she was in the house, if that song played a little 9 month old little girl came running to dance with dora!
My son loves Dora! Now when he thinks something is good he says “yum! Olecioso! ( since he can’t say deliciouso!)
My daughters LOVE Dora and Boots!!!
I remember when my now 5 year old daughter had a Dora and boots Bday party! She had the BEST time when we rented a costume and Dad pretended to be Dora. LOL.. It was SOOOOOO darn cute!!! She was just in awe the whole day. I was always wondering when she was going to expect Dora to talk, but she never did..:) ( I mention that she could only stay for a SHORT while , because she was soooo busy. She just lived in the moment and had the best memories.. :)
My daughter who is two and a half thinks her name is Dora. Recently we were in Louisiana visiting my family, and when anyone asked Maysi (my daughter ) what her name was she would say “Dora” then she would point to my younger daughter who is 13 months and say “Boots!” Now I am trying to get her out of a toddler bed and into a “big girl bed” and so I am making her a Dora comforter out of scrap material.
mtMy daughter dressed up for halloween as dora and she looked just like her!! She took home first place in the contest!!
My daughter loves to watch Dora and Boots……she loves to say “swiper no swiping ” with her hand stretched out like Dora and she does it so nicely…it’s fun to watch her …
I am a fb fan and I subscribed to your blog as well.
DD loves Dora’s Pirate Adventure and will sing along with all the songs! It’s so cute listening to her sing the ones in Spanish! Dh will correct her but then she goes right back to pronouncing it as she wants! LOL
My youngest daughter and I would just burst into song…We’d watch Dora and then sing all day long!!!
