NEW Disney Games are the Perfect Holiday Gift Review

This year saw a large shift in my family structure. My divorce was final earlier this year and I made a committment to spend more quality time with my daughters. Some days I hit the nail on the head and some days I feel I fail miserably. But every day I try, and that has to count for something! One of our favorite ways to spend time together is with games! And now that our favorite Disney characters have some amazing NEW Disney Games, we are all over game night with vigor and friendly competition!

We were so lucky to get three of the new ones out.

World of Disney Eye Found it! Game (One of Amazon’s TOP Holiday Toys!) has us joining Mickey Mouse and friends on an exciting race through twelve exquisitely illustrated. Disney worlds including Cinderella, Phineas and Ferb, Monsters, Inc. , and more. Along the way, everyone finds iconic Disney objects and gets a chance to say, “I found it!” For ages 5 and up, my girls and I laid out this HUGE game board, gathered our Mickey ears and other favorite characters and laughed our way through the game! This is a MUST have in any home!

Sofia the First Magical Tea Time Game (Available at Toys ‘R Us) invites us to tea with Princess Sofia! As the magical teapot blows on your tea, the color of your teacup changes! Make a match to collect a treat. Along the way, earn extra points as you practice good tea time manners. My 4 year old played this game long after we were done all by herself! She left the rules behind and entertained herself – and her stuffed animals – for the afternoon. I love this game!

Doc McStuffins All Better! Game (Available at Walmart) makes the boo boos go away! Each slap bracelet bandage is a different mystery ouchie. Take turns trying to figure out which doctor tool will make things all better in this fun game of pretending and playful problem-solving! My kids had me sitting in the chair checking me for every thing imaginable. They carry this game around with them and stop and ‘doctor’ as they play! It is really cute and I love the soft game!

There are new ACTIVE Indoor Fun For Preschool Pirates too, like the Jake and the Never Land Pirates Shipwreck Beach Treasure Hunt Game! (Available at Walmart). Captain Hook has buried pirate booty all over Shipwreck Beach. Flip over the gold doubloons and use Jake’s spyglass to decode the secret clues. When you get a match, get up and go! Snag the correct treasure with the foam sword and hurry back to score! Great indoor active fun to take you through winter.

Get your turtle fan the new Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Flying Attack Skill and Action Game! Containing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Madness, send the Turtles flying to knock off Shredder’s Foot Clan as they climb the big, teetering tower, or play as Shredder racing to get your ninjas to the top to win!

And for 8 and up, the Justice League Axis of Villains Strategy Game (Available at Target) lets kids be a Super Hero! The most dangerous villains in the universe have combined forces to attack the Justice League satellite. Play as Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, or The Flash and team up to defeat them in this powered-up strategy game!
