As most of you know, we bought a fixer upped a few years back and are slowly claiming it as our home.  With each new coat of paint, each new light bulbs and every step forward, we are happier and happier that we decided to do this.

Most days.

One item that I was not skimping on in this house was bathroom and kitchen faucets!  So when I was asked to review a Danze Bathroom Faucet, I jumped at it.  I got to review the Eastham Brushed Nickle: D301015BN and it is so pretty!! We had replaced my daughter’s faucet when we moved in but it was a quick replacement and I wanted something cleaner and nicer for her.

Unfortunately, I did not pay attention and the faucet I ordered will not fit the pre-cut holes in the granite.  Rather than replace my granite, I will just order the right one.  However, it not fitting gave me a chance to help out my neighbor!

She is a single mom and has recently been mentioning that her faucet in her bathroom has been leaking and is cracked.  So, she was the natural choice for me to give the faucet to and – lucky for us – her counter was the perfect size and ready to go!

This faucet, first of all, is Q U A L I T Y!  I am so bummed (OK, I am happy for her) that my neighbor gets to enjoy this.  The faucet’s nickle finish is flawless and the design is perfect.  It has a nice, high neck so that it is easy to wash your hands, brush your teeth and wash your face without having to bend all the way down to get to the water.  The weight of the faucet is solid.  And the easy to turn handles makes the faucet easy to use and switch on and off when you are in a hurry….  to bring your generous neighbor dinner, no doubt!

As my neighbor has enjoyed the faucet through out the day she has texted me her thoughts.  I did not ask for her to, she is just that excited to have one that does not leak, is not cracked and will – clearly – outlast the other on.
