There is a lot of busy going on during my weeks. As much as I would like to think that I can get a delicious, home cooked meal on the table seven nights a week, it is just not going to happen. I still want to gather my family and make a meal a wonderful experience though. I want to have those fun conversations that can only be had around the dinner table, learn new things about my girls and enjoy a moment away from the chaos of everyday to-do lists. That is why I always have a few Stouffer’s Family Sized meals in my freezer. Our latest most asked for variety these days is the STOUFFER’S® Meat Lovers Lasagna that I find in the Entrees frozen section at Walmart. If you are looking for chinks of quality meats in your lasagna that makes this a meal, this is the variety for you! Pair them with my Cheesy Garlic Knots and you have a family dinner made with love where everyone will ask for seconds!
STOUFFER’S® Meat Lovers Lasagna is crammed with Italian sausage, ground beef and pepperoni. It is made with love, just like you would make it and the family sized portion is plenty for the girls and I! I love that I can gather around the goodness of STOUFFER’S® and feel good about what is on my families dinner plates!
Even with pop in the oven and serve foods, though, I like to add a little homemade to the table. So my Cheesy Garlic Knots are my go-to for great Italian meals! While my STOUFFER’S® Meat Lovers Lasagna is cooling, I grab a can of crescent rolls, some cheese sticks and some other ingredients and get to work. They are always brown and ready right as we are ready to eat!
- 1 can crescent rolls
- 2 mozzarella cheese sticks
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- ⅛ tspn garlic, crushed finely
- Italian seasoniong to garnish
- Heat the over according to the crescent roll instructions. Roll out each roll flat. Cut the cheese sticks in small pieces so they lay in the roll. I did 3 per roll. Pick up two edges, the shorter ones, and pinch them together at the top. Take the longer piece and wrap it around the two, causing it to stand up. Brush with the butter and garlic mixture. Bake until golden brown. Lightly brush with more bitter and garnish with Italian Seasoning. Enjoy!
