For a few years now, I have been boasting about Chillafish Balance Bikes. My two youngest girls learned to ride on them and I have handed them down to friends along the way as well. So when I was asked to bring you their very cool contest where they are giving away 31 BMXie Balance Bikes, I was more than thrilled to pass this great product onto you!
Chillafish Balance Bikes are the one thing that really did help my girls to learn to ride a bike. My oldest didn’t have the BMXie and the only thing that motivated her to take off the training wheels was watching her younger sister go from Chillafish to a bike with no training wheels in record time. Even my youngest, who is scared of her own shadow, was out of training wheels and on a real bike before I could get my oldest to give it a shot.
I love these bikes because they are colorful, low to the ground and the perfect height for little legs and because Chillafish is always making improvements to them. For example, they now boast Airless RubberSkin tires that give you the best grip possible, and you don’t even need to inflate them. A foam core means they cannot puncture; an outside rubber layer makes them just like rubber tires, unlike other foam tires on the market. Great grip and no pumps – that’s best of both worlds. This is a great innovation for parents who don’t want to have to pump up tires all the time! Especially if you are passing the bike from kid to kid!
We parents know that there is so much we have to teach our kids in their childhood. Making one thing, like learning to ride a bike, easier is a wonderful thing. You get to watch your kids speed along, getting awesome exercise as they ‘pedal’ with their legs as early as age 2. Then, watch as they show a faster and more curious interest in larger, peddled bikes as they grow. Hold on to the seat to get them balanced and watch with pride as they take on the bigger bike with the confidence and excitement they learn to trust with their Chillafish Balance Bike!
My girls are all expert bike riders now but I kind of miss these days. The beautiful, lime green, Chillafish BMXis I got will go to a child that needs one and I will relish in the parents sending me photos as they learn to ride!
