I have been wanting to make these for a while but have debated whether or not they would be any good. They are more than good. They are amazing and I am not ashamed to say that I ate 3 of them in one sitting! Bacon Cream Cheese Stuffed Pastry offers creamy, smoky yumminess that is a great snack for anytime!
The recipe is simple. Bacon, cream cheese, chives and garlic rolled up unto croissant rolls. The effort is minimal but the reward it big! Be sure to use a non stick surface to cook the croissants. I used a cookie sheet and my trusty Silpat mat.

Recipe type: Appetizer
Serves: 4
Ingredients
- 1 can croissant rolls
- 1 8 ounce tub of cream cheese, room temperature
- 4 slices bacon, cubed
- 1 tspn garlic
- Chives, fresh or dried (I used dried)
- 1 pat butter
- Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Slice and cube bacon and cook until almost crisp. At about the half way mark of cooking, add the garlic. Dish out the cream cheese in a bowl and add chives. When bacon is done, place it on a paper towel to drain and cool. When cool (about a minute or two), add it to the cream cheese mixture. Meanwhile, roll out croissants on a non stick, oven safe surface. Place a spoon size dollop of cream cheese mixture on end of croissant. Roll and close the edges. Bake according to croissant can instructions. Melt the butter in a dish. Brush over top of croissant. Sprinkle Parmesan and chives and serve.
