Who doesn’t love board games? I was fortunate enough to review several of the hottest new games recently and wanted to share my thoughts about them with you guys. We love playing games and when you can combine that love with some of the more popular themes for kids, you have surefire winners during the holiday season. Here are several of the best holiday games I was fortunate enough to try out from Wonder Forge!
Pictopia: Disney Edition Trivia Game – The Ultimate Picture Trivia Family Game!
If you think you know Disney, this game is for you. From the basics of animation to the various television shows, this game covers a ton of Disney knowledge. Working together we were able to figure out most of them without it seeming too hard. This is a wonderful game for kids that feel left out when you bring out Trivial Pursuit for the adults.
Disney Frozen Surprise Slides™ Game – A surprise-filled race to Elsa’s Ice palace!
Frozen has taken the animated world to new heights and this game captures that magic wonderfully. It is exciting and the game changes constantly to keep your little ones enthralled. We found it to be entertaining and a game that we could play more than once per sitting because of the various changes and surprises along the way.
Disney Frozen 6-in-1 Game – A fun game of picture-matching!
If you have kids that grow bored of games quickly, this is the choice for you. One purchase bags you six awesome games that are all themed around Disney. From Bingo to Domino Tiles we were having fun for hours. This particular game has a special place on our family game shelf simply because it offers up so many options. Options are good when you are parenting kids, right?
Dr. Seuss™ Charades Game – The silly pretend-play game!
Of all the games on this list, the Dr. Seuss Charades Game is our favorite. There are all kinds of silly things to act out and charades has never been so fun. The kids really got into the game and I found myself following suit. Charades is a great game to start with and when you add classic Dr. Seuss silliness to the mix, you have a great choice indeed.
