My girls are a little young for Victorious so they don’t need to know that I stepped into my ‘tween’ attitude and flipped through Victorious: The Complete Second Season.

I was very pleasantly surprised!  What a cute, fun, uplifting series this is!  Students at Hollywood Arts High School, Tori Vega and friends shine bright as they re-audition for their spots at Hollywood Arts (these kids are TALENTED!), getting ready for Prom and attending a Ke$ha concert!  And you will laugh out loud when you see the conundrum Tori gets into after exaggerating – just a bit on her resume!

There is a two part series that sees the group in prison!, Tori grapples with trust issues when the cutest boy in school wants to perform with Tori and even includes a giant cupcake?

I really like this series.  In between the campy jokes and live- action scenes are real dramatic issues that these kids have to work through.  Depression, lying, revenge and more.  All relevant topics for the age group and beyond.  And the stories are told in a very frank, easy to grasp way.
